Meet ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½'s Newest Students: Class of 2029 Profile

The top three majors for the first-year class are Health Science, Psychology and Business Administration.

Galloway, N.J. — Many of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ University’s approximately 1,500 first-year students moved into their residence halls Friday morning.

Nearly 3,000 undergraduate students will live in university housing in Galloway Township and in ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½â€™s two residence halls in Atlantic City this semester.

Here are some interesting facts about the 2025-26 first-year class:

  • 90% of full-time, first-year students received institutional grants and/or scholarships totaling $9.8 million.
  • 54% of registered, first-year undergraduates are first-generation (meaning they are the first in their family to attend an institution of higher education).
  • The students come from 14 different states as far north as Vermont and New Hampshire, as far west as Texas and as far south as Florida.
  • The first-year class also includes students from six different countries.
  • In the first-year class, 136 of the students are recruited athletes, including women’s volleyball players from New Hampshire and Virginia.
  • The top three majors for this class are Health Science, Psychology and Business Administration.
  • About 680 transfer students have also enrolled at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ this semester.
